Scott and Todd shake things up a bit this week by playing a new game, “What are you…”, where they talk about the things they’re watching, reading, listening to, and what’s pissing them off.  Todd starts off with a rant about the election, and Scott follows it with an epic rant about people labeling themselves nonbinary. He follows that up with a critical look t gay pride festivals that will offend most people. From there they cover most everything going on in their pop culture overloaded lives, and end it with some love for Star Trek: The Motion Picture. Well, one of them does anyway.

You can make jokes about everything. It’s the “how”, not the “what”.

Creepy horror games seem to be passe at the moment, I hope they come back big.

The first Star Trek is great as it is, but it would have been impossible to continue with this tone. They made the right decision.

I was so against on getting an FB account. Ended up getting one and I gotta say, it was one of the best things I did. Yeah, it’s not perfect but it’s awesome that I can stay in touch with old friends and all that stuff.

I feel if a person who identifies as NB isn’t really harming anyone or themselves. Just my take.

Yeah, that’s a huge problem with how a lot of folks look at gay people. They immediately assume they’re promiscuous because they’re not hetero. I recall having this discussion with a friend about this.

It’s all about context I suppose when it comes to jokes.

For me, it’s The Dig. Damn, it was dope.

  • Damn that was a kick ass game. All the Lucas Arts games were.

  • I agree with you, it’s just one of those things that I think more than anything finds me on the other side of the generation gap.

  • I agree. I had mine for a while before I actually started using it, but I’ve met a load of very cool people through it, in addition to connecting with people I haven’t talked to since 4th grade.

  • Totally agree, I think if anything it had too much of its television roots peeking through.

  • And the ones that are out all rely on jump scares.

For you, that’s every month. X)

I wouldn’t stop being friends with someone who supports Trump, instead i would question His/her sanity or lack thereof.

  • But it sure doesn’t look like television. It’s by far the most cinematic ST movie ever made. It’s truly epic.
