Alien(s), Predator and Terminator are possibly the most successful R-rated SciFi/horror movie franchises in existence.
They have been sticking around for approximately three decades now and are still going strong, with new sequels, reboots and spin-offs announced.
But when will be finally be fed up with the xenomorphs, hunters from other planets and robots from the future? Looking at the latest bunch of outputs of each franchise, the question for their relevance is justified.
Is there still creative potential in those series or are they solely driven by greed and nostalgia by now? Or are they just timeless enough to go on forever?
The BOPX regulars Dee, IAB and Zod invited Col. Tigh-Fighter from the UK to discuss these and other questions, while taking a look back at the preceding movies.
